How do I place my order for a report?
You must have a Weather Forensics account to order a report. If you
have not signed up for an account, do so now here.
If you have an account with us but cannot remember your password,
an account, orders can be placed online at our website, anywhere,
at anytime. Login to your account and simply click on the type of
weather report you wish to order and then follow the steps through
the order completion screen.
How do I see past orders?
You can view your past orders under the Account Manager page of our
website. Once you are logged in, you can view any of your past reports
from the Account Manager page (click the "My Account" link on the
top navigation bar on the page once you have logged in) by clicking
the report type in the lower left corner of the account manager page.
How quickly will my order be ready?
That depends on the product you purchase. LightningTrax reports
are ordered and delivered immediately to your computer screen and
instantly stored to your account. HailExpress data for past dates
(all past business days) are available immediately on your account
– see Hail FAQs for more details.
HailTrax Reports and most other reports we create to your exact specifications,
take 2-3 business days and are delivered via email and posted to your
account. If you place an order that takes longer than 2-3 business
days, you will be contacted by a WeatherForensics.com representative.
What is the Claim Number/File Number field?
This is an optional field that lets customers add a claim number and
or file number to their WeatherForensics report. We will refer to
your claim/file number (if supplied by you at order entry) on our
report, in any communications with you and on the invoice or sales
receipt.
What is the Comment box used for?
The Comments box is a free form area for you to communicate with our
customer service team about the specifics of your order. The following
are some examples:
How do I know if you received my order?
You will always receive a report number and a confirmation e-mail
every time our system receives your order. The exception to this
is LightningTrax, which due to the near-instant delivery directly
on your computer screen, there is no reason to send an email confirmation.
I want to order a HailTrax Report, but do not have a specific
address location. How do I order?
Although HailTrax is intended to be an address-specific report, we
have many customers who use this report as a tool to evaluate the
size and scope of the storm and to decide if they want to scout the
area for hail damage. To order a 'non-address-specific' HailTrax report,
go to the HailTrax order entry page and in the address field type
'non-address-specific'. Provide a city and state and our meteorologists
will use this as the center of the 100mi x 100mi map. See hail FAQs
for additional details.
