Announcing TornadoExpress Service

Daily tornado reporting service now available for 3 month, 6 month or 12 month subscriptions

NORMAN, Okla. (March 31, 2004) Weather Decision Technologies, Inc. (WDT), just released its latest in a series of weather products designed to help companies and organizations make informed and timely weather decisions. TornadoExpress™, an internet-delivered assessment of tornado damage, takes the guesswork out of tornado path locations and damage estimates for CAT teams, claims professionals, restoration crews, and other organizations that react to tornados.

"TornadoExpress™ removes the guesswork for people who react to severe weather or provide insurance or claims assessment after damage has occurred," explained Mike Eilts, WDT President and CEO. "By using our expertise and state-of-the art capabilities, they can make informed decisions and monitor response activities or insurance claims based on quantifiable data."

TornadoExpress™ reports are generated by expert meteorologists using damage surveys/assessments and NEXRAD Doppler Weather Radar data. These reports fully utilize the power of GIS (Geographic Information Systems) to produce precise and reliable damage paths that are provided either as color coded maps or as GIS formatted polygons.

TornadoExpress™ starts at just $2,370 for a one region, six-month service. Enhancements or customization to integrate with other data (population density, zip code boundaries, etc.) is also available.
