About WDT’s 2009 Hail Climatology Poster

Since our introduction of HailTrax Reports in 2001, we have  often been asked about hail climatology to determine number of days areas of the continental US is impacted by hail of ¾” or greater diameter.  WDT is currently producing a five (5) year composite hail climatology map which will be available by 4-1-2010.  Currently, WDT has produced a poster size (18’ x 24”) 2009 Hail Climatology Map using the output of our HailExpress hailswaths from January 1, 2009 through December 31, 2009.  To request a copy of the 2009 Hail Climatology Map, click here.
