LightningExpress™ Service
LightningExpress™ Service takes claims verification to an entirely new level by allowing carriers, their claims personnel and their agents (yes, agents) the unlimited freedom to process as many lightning claims as they desire, all for one low annual fee. Fast-tracking lightning claims within a claims department was standard practice in many insurance companies. Now, the agents too can access LightningExpress to verify the overwhelming majority of lightning claims – those with claims values low enough to be processed in the agents’ office.
Access to LightningExpress™ Service is available on an annual or multiple year subscription. Full continental US or regional coverage is offered.
LightningExpress Service is built on the technology of the United States Precision Lightning Network™ (USPLN™). Every LightningExpress report includes a search of the USPLN™ archive, a detailed color street-level map, a user-defined search period of 1 hour to the entire policy period*, a search radius as small as one (1) mile or up to 15 mile radius, a print out of each lightning stroke detected, including: date, time, latitude, longitude, polarity, amplitude and range bearing (from the search location to each lightning stroke). LightningExpress™ Service is designed for property/casualty insurance carriers and other customers handling large quantities of lightning claims. LightningExpress™ Service offers unlimited access to the USPLN™ archives to validate lighting claims. Search periods can be for a day, week, month, or the entire policy period.* LightningExpress™ offers claims management personnel the ultimate flexibility to run as many reports as desired all for one low annual fee.
